Projectors
What exactly is a projector? The projector is a device that transmits visual content such as images, video, etc. on a projection screen and its use allows viewing content in a large way.
In the past there were many types of projectors but they are considered obsolete and not in use today.
Nowadays there is a front projector that is smaller, more developed, more portable and convenient and of course the image quality that it transmits is also much better.
There are such projectors of different types which are equipped in different shapes and therefore their price is different.
So how do you know which projector will be right for you?
First of all, adjust the projector to the viewing room.
What is the size of the room where you plan to view content using the projector?
There is an option to install the projector in the ceiling regularly or place the projector on a surface in front of the screen.
Note the image size: When choosing the image size that your projector will transmit, pay attention to the viewing distance in the room from the screen.
The second factor is the distance of the projector from the screen which is no less important.
We recommend finding a projector that will combine the size of the image you want with the actual installation distance.
Viewing distance: A projector gives an image ranging in size from 30 inches to 300 inches.
To know what the recommended image size is for you, calculate the viewing distance by dividing by 2.
Installation distance: The installation distance is calculated by multiplying the image size by the ratio of the distance to the image size.
Image quality: The image quality is determined by 3 different parameters – illuminance, contrast ratio and resolution.
Illumination intensity – refers to the brightness of the image and the higher the brightness that the projector produces, the better the quality of the image. The picture is clearer when the room is darker, so if the room is not dark enough, your projector should have a good, high brightness intensity.
The main existing range is between 700-3000 luminescent.
Contrast Ratio – The higher the contrast ratio the more vivid and accurate the colors in the image.
If you are projecting only images the ratio does not have to be particularly high but for video projection a contrast ratio is indeed an important component. In a relatively dark room, 1: 400 will suffice, and in a brighter room, a ratio of 1: 1000 or more is preferable.
Resolution – If you use a projector to project presentations, then a resolution of 1240×720 will suffice, but for watching movies it is better to choose a projector that transmits Full HD or Ultra HD.
Projection surface: The projection surface also affects the quality of the image. The reference on the projection surface is on what your image is transmitted.
There are special screens that are suitable for projectors and these of course transmit a much higher quality image.
But there are a lot of people who choose to broadcast the picture on a wall or on a sheet which is of course an option but note that the picture will be much less quality.
A screen is a good investment for those who are looking for a quality image, those who project many times and not just occasionally and those who want to preserve the life of the projector’s LED.
There are screens that can be set up and moved and there are also projectors that can be removed from the ceiling with the help of a remote control.
All these data affect the quality of the projector and the image and all the variables must be understood before purchasing a projector.
